The Ultimate II Laser promises all the natural vitamins and mineral that your scalp needs to re-grow your hair with a twist. Along with some other not so natural chemicals in their formulas, they also give you a hand held low level laser. The “Complete Treatment Program” is said to be more effective than the competition because it combines vitamins and nutrients with low level laser therapy.
How the Complete Treatment Program works
The program utilizes a multi-therapeutic approach for both men and women. The products in the system are designed to promote good scalp hygiene, block DHT (the most common cause of hair loss), and of course be combined with the low-level laser therapy.
What you get
Along with the hand-held laser, you also receive:
• HLCC Scrips Complete: The patented formula that really works.
• Minoxidil and Saw Palmetto Lotion: While Minoxidil has been used to fight hair loss effectively in some products, any effects that may be achieved will fade soon after use. Saw palmetto is rich in fatty acids and phtosteryals and has been used to combat prostate problems, but it will do nothing to fight hair loss. Oh well, at least you will be able to go to the restroom easier.
• Scalp Therapy Dax: Designed to dissolve sebum build-up, enabling the penetration of Minoxidil or other topical growth stimulators. Basically it cleans your scalp.
• SLS and DEA Free Shampoo: A specially formulated gentle and non-irritating hair loss shampoo without sodium laurel sulfate –SLS- and DEA. Another product to clean your scalp. This one at least won’t irritate your head.
All the products are sold as a standalone but each has a note that they work best when combined with one another. Like many other hair loss products out today, it is all about the bundling of multiple products.
Low level laser therapy
Low level laser therapy is also known as photobiomodulation. The technique is emerging in the medical and veterinary practices in which exposure to low-level laser light or light emitting diodes might stimulate or inhibit cellular function possibly leading to beneficial clinical effects. Some of the clinical applications of the low level laser therapy include treating soft tissue injury, chronic pain and wound healing. There is no evidence to suggest that low level laser therapy promotes hair growth or prevent hair loss.
There was an experiment in the 1960s where mice that had their backs shaven and given low level laser therapy had their hair grow back faster than the mice without the low level laser therapy. But the hair was shaven off and not lost due to DHT. Besides, mice and men are two different animals.
Conclusion
The Ultimate Laser II is something straight out of Star Wars. Only with their “Complete Program Treatment” will you find a system that promotes the same old natural and unnatural ingredients that won’t re-grow hair but you will also find a hand held laser beam to shoot at yourself. It should be noted that the price, though reduced almost 50 percent, is still not cheap. The big price reduction suggests that the company is trying to clear out inventory that probably doesn’t work very well and will probably soon be out with the Ultimate III Laser.
