Spectral RS

Coming from DS Laboratories is another hair loss treatment product called Spectral RS. It’s a formula that treats thinning hair and diffuses hair loss by improving the nutrition, circulation, and metabolism of the hair follicle. Essentially, that means it is designed to make a hair follicle of a person with thinning hair stronger and better than it was before the treatment.

DS Laboratories is so sure of this product they provide an iron clad guarantee that this product will work and have a website where you can upload your pictures of your new, healthy growing head of hair.  It’s not however, meant for genetic male pattern baldness and they have another product for that.

Spectral RS Ingredients

One of the most well known ingredients that help re-grow hair is called minoxidil and it’s in almost every treatment program out there to reverse the balding process. The other that has been FDA approved, just as minoxidil, is called finasteride. They are both FDA approved hair loss treatment drugs and they both actually work. Spectral RS has neither of these drugs in it.

How to Use

The package states that you should use it twice a day, applying at least 14 or more sprays to the area that is thinning. You should then massage the lotion into the scalp and not rinse it out. It can be applied to dirty or clean hair and should be used in conjunction with other topical treatments, namely, Spectral DNS.

No you didn’t miss anything in that last bit of information. Apparently, in order to work properly, Spectral RS should be combined with another product made by the same company, DS Laboratories, called Spectral DNS. These two products combined, since the other on has minoxidil in it, should help to re-grow those missing and thinning hairs. Simply put, this product, by itself, will not re-grow any hair at all and that’s essentially what the makers are saying.

Spectral RS is, more or less, the same exact thing as their other product, Spectral DNS but without the drugs in it that will actually cause any re-growth of hair. It’s not there to do that at all, and they are very misleading about this information when you read about the product. It has only one function; to nourish your hair and provide good nutrients so when you buy their other product, Spectral DNS, your hair will grow faster.

Conclusion

This smacks of those fabled elixirs of old that claimed to heal everything from the common cold to possession of evil spirits that were sold from the back of a wagon in the streets. With Spectral RS, the consumer is getting shafted by buying a hair loss treatment that is not really a hair loss treatment at all, but a completely separate product that helps nourish hair. Why waste money with this product when you can buy the same thing but actually does include the medication that actually helps re-grow that missing hair. It would seem to be a winning solution for DS Laboratories to make something once, and sell it twice. This would definitely fall under the buyer beware category.
