Nizoral is also known as Ketoconazole. It is available by prescription in shampoo form to treat fungal scalp conditions like dandruff that do not respond to over the counter methods. In the U.S., a weaker shampoo is available without a prescription.
Do you have ringworm? Then you can use Nizoral to kill it. You have to treat it for several weeks to ensure you have eliminated it from your skin.
