Provillus

Do we ever rate a hair loss treatment positively. The answer is that we do (rarely). Why don’t we recommend the product on this page? We’re looking for clinically-researched ingredients, at the clinical dosage. There are a few hair loss products that have chosen to take this high road, and our favorite is Provillus.  Feel Free to Read our review or go to the official site.

Nanogaine

Nanogaine Hair Loss Treatment System is said to promote hair growth by eliminating harmful chemicals in the body that can cause hair loss. The products three active ingredients Superoxide Dismutase, Capilecti, and Lo-Seb supposedly work together to help stop hair loss and thinning hair.

How it works

Nanogaine works like many other hair loss treatments on the market today by stimulating blood flow in the scalp in an effort to promote new hair growth.

Nanogaine says its system is one of a kind and utilizes its three active ingredients to achieve results like no other product.

The product is supposed to be applied to a moist scalp twice per day, once in the morning with the “day” formula and once in the evening with the “night” formula. Once applied the product is said to help movement of nitric oxide to the hair follicle and prevent free radical damage to the hair cells all while stimulating the scalp to promote a healthy environment to grow hair.

Active ingredients

Nanogaine claims that its results are so powerful because of the three main active ingredients:

•    Superoxide Dismutase –SOD-: Superoxide is found in the body and, according to the company, appears to inhibit hair growth. Superoxide is a free radical that combines with nitric oxide to form Peroxynitrate, which is toxic and causes the hair to fall out. SODs destroy the superoxide free radical so the production of peroxynitrate doesn’t occur.  As a result hair loss is prevented. The company admits that there are other causes of hair loss -namely DHT production- but that SODs do not combat these.

•    Capilecti: This is a lectin-like glycoprotein which helps attach hair follicle cells together. The company claims that Capilecti has been shown to the expand the anagen -growth phase- phase of the hair and shorten the telogen phase -resting phase- of the hair by 17%.

•    Lo-Seb: A complex of homotaurine, bacterial filtrate peptides, and marine derived sulphomucopolysaccharide extracts.

While the names of these ingredients are very high tech sounding and may actually increase the blood flow of the scalp, by the company’s own admission, they will not block DHT and therefore not be very
effective in fighting your hair loss.

Conclusion

Nanogaine is no different than any other hair loss product that promises better blood flow in the scalp; it won’t help you to re-grow hair. Good blood flow is very important for good health, but it is not a necessity for your hair to grow back. The company also has no mention of a guarantee so buy at your own risk. Also in small red print you will see that Nanogaine is no longer available for sale in the United States because of the strict import polices of the FDA. So the FDA obviously doesn’t think too highly of this product. By not being available in the United States, it will be tough to find a steady supply of the product, which the company says is vital for good results, should you want to use it. In the case of this product, you might just want to take the FDA’s word for it and steer clear.
