Avodart was prescribed for me yesterday to use in conjunction with spironlactone and copex steriod hair shampoo treatements. After reading up on this drug, it is somewhat scarry yet, I am looking for something to stop this rapid hair loss. I had colon cancer 7 years ago and am cancer free. Is cancer one of the side affects for use? Can you tell me anything else to consider or try that works? What do you think about Avodart as a hair loss treatment for women?
