Revivogen Bio-Cleansing Shampoo is a product that’s designed to work in different ways to help hair loss sufferers (and we know that means you!). First, it removes sebum and DHT from the scalp while gently cleansing. It also nourishes your hair and improves the condition of your hair by moisturizing. Overall, Revivogen Bio-Cleansing Shampoo is supposed to promote healthy hair growth. Unlike Revivogen Scalp Therapy, it has no active ingredients. Instead, the shampoo is intended to compliment treatment with the Revivogen Scalp Therapy. But we think this is one product that you can do without, and we’ll tell you why.

What Is It?

The B Complex Vitamin group is made up of several different B Vitamins, including B5, B6, B12, Biotin, Niacin and Folic acid. B Complex Vitamins are commonly used in products to prevent hair loss and products to regrow hair. But how does this popular vitamin complex work to stop your hair from shedding in clumps and globs? Is there scientific research that proves these effects or are they simply old wives tales making claims that don’t have any real value?

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

Rogaine has developed a new product for treatment of hair loss - Men’s Rogaine Foam. It contains the active ingredient Minoxidil, which has been shown to help regrow hair and prevent further hair loss. Minoxidil has been proven to be effective in treating hair loss in some men, but that’s not enough to sell us on this product. The manufacturers have intended for this product to be easier to use than the original Rogaine Serum, but we think they’ve missed the mark. We’d recommend that you use some other product to treat hair loss, and we’ll tell you why.

Propecia

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

Propecia is the only FDA-approved drug that treats male pattern baldness on the top of the head and the front middle area of the head (known to doctors as the vertex and the mid-scalp). Propecia’s effectiveness with balding at the temple areas is not proven, but you can count on it for the vertex and mid-scalp. The thing about Propecia is: it’s famous, and it has a pretty good track record for helping men grow their hair back over a long period of time. In other words, Propecia sounds familiar to you for good reason.
